Dhillon Choudhri is a 2022 SS/RHP with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, NJ who attends The Lawrenceville School. Medium, broad shouldered build with present strength to frame and additional room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 5.40 40-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well on feet and shows range to either side, fields the ball out front and shows a long arm action through the back, works on top of throws and shows comfort dropping down with his slot to make an accuracy throw. Righthanded hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow in the box; utilizes a toe tap trigger moving into stride. Lowers hands at start of swing, upper body dominant swing. Shows a full swing path through the zone, linear path and occasionally gets uphill looking to lift, upper body dominant swing and projects with additional lower half implemented. Very good student.
