2021 Sunshine East Showcase
Brian M Perez is a 2023 C/1B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Miami Coral Park. Taller and strong frame that has some definition. Ran a 8.00 in the sixty yard dash. A primary catcher, higher set and comfort with quick transfers and a clean arm stroke and release. Extends and uses a linear process to throw accurately. Popped a 2.13 during drills. A right-handed hitter, starts wider and open and pulls back his hands while making the forward move to create separation. Short path and the ball comes off hard when extended. Gap to gap approach. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
