Andrew Khalaf is a 2020 OF/2B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends Concordia Lutheran HS. Medium frame with beginnings of strength. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary outfielder with deliberate footwork while closing to the baseball. Funnels underneath the baseball and worked through exchange with loose action. Released from a high energy arm action that produced some on line carry to the bag at 72 miles per hour. Also worked out from the infield showing compact footwork while moving to the baseball. Developing range while working to each side. Funnels from a slightly deeper position and worked through exchange with developing fluidity. Compact arm action at release topping at 72 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a balanced stance and simple leg lift trigger. Utilized a line drive barrel plane while flashing some strength at contact. Primarily looked to work to the middle of the field while swinging with intent. Generated some jump off the barrel to the gaps when on time and squared. Good student.
