Chris Berset is a 2006 catcher/second baseman from The Heights School in Vienna, Virginia, with a strong 6'0"/175 pound frame. Chris has a strong and accurate arm from behind the plate with a 1.96 pop time. He is a solid defensive catcher with good feet and blocks well, Berset is a switch hitter with a no stride approach from the right side. He is a line drive hitter with strength in his swing and very good bat speed. From the left side, he has a wide base and good bat speed. Chris makes consistent solid contact from both sides of the plate. He is a definite follow and is also a good student.
