James Diddell is a 2009 RHP/3B from Blair Academy, residing in Westfield, New Jersey, with a 5'11"/175 pound frame. Diddell has a thick body with a strong strong build. Defensively, Diddell throws with a long arm action across the infield and has developing arm strength. He has an accurate arm at 76 mph and has developing actions at 3B. At the plate, Diddell starts with an even narrow stance and starts with a solid base. He has a quiet approach in the box and gets good rotation in his swing. Diddell has a slight uppercut swing path and looks to hit the ball the other way. He has some balance issues in his swing which limit his power, but with a few corrections he should hit for more power. Diddell is a very good student.
