2020 Atlantic Coast Prospect Showcase
Ben Michael is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Fairview, NC who attends Asheville Christian Academy. Medium frame with some strength to an athletic build and remaining room to fill. Ran a 6.86 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, worked out in the outfield with plenty of athleticism but some rawness to mechanics, comes through it hard, great arm strength and good throws with carry when he stays on top of the baseball. Righthanded hitter, swings with a ton of intent and effort, occasional length to the hand path but creates good carry off contact when squared out front and showed ability to hit well in game action. Outstanding student.
