2023 West Coast Prospect Showcase
James Clark is a 2026 SS/MIF with a proportional, athletic 6-0 170 lb. frame from Riverside, CA who attends Servite HS. Started off the event clocking a 7.09 60-yard dash. Clark was a standout amongst his peers and had one of the better BP rounds in the whole event where he showed off his strength and the ability to barrel up the baseball with consistency. It was a loud round pounding the gaps, and there is definite power potential here. On the dirt is where he shined and demonstrated advanced actions working through the baseball with confidence and athleticism only seen in high level defenders. Clark has excellent laterally movement and was able to get to balls out of normal range. The arm tool is plus and the throws across the diamond were crisp and on-line. Big time prospect. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
