Gabriel Barlow is a 2021 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-3 240 lb. frame from Grand Prairie, TX who attends Seguin. Extra big and strong stocky build. High leg raise delivery, long arm action in back coming to a low 3/4's release slot out front, tends to fall off to the third base side at release. Upper 70's fastball, topped out at 80 mph, more velocity in there with mechanical adjustments, gets some arm side running life at times, showed a solid ability to throw his fastball for strikes and move it to both sides of the plate. Slurve type breaking ball has good sweeping action across the plate, creates angle with it, can use this pitch more in attacking hitters. Left handed hitter, long and strong swing with some present bat speed, can hit the ball a long way when he's synced up and on time, plenty of lift in his swing, mid field contact.
