Jacob Venegas is a 2025 SS/RHP, 2B, MIF, OF with a 5-7 153 lb. frame from Ontario, CA who attends Chaffey High. Slender build with plenty of room to add muscle. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.30 seconds. Primary infielder who clocked up to 68 mph on throws across. Fields the ball cleanly with soft hands and a good exchange into his throws, arm strength still developing. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a toe tap, hands sit high by ear. Has a simple swing with natural loft to it, will continue to get better as he adds strength. Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
