Logan Cooke is a 2022 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-1 188 lb. frame from Delray Beach, FL who attends St. John Paul II. Large frame with some strength to the build at present but remaining room to fill out. Primary third baseman, gets a good first step on ground balls, takes some time working through the ball but fields it cleanly and showed solid arm strength on throws across. Plays with confidence in the outfield, works aggressively through it and was clocked up to 84 mph on throws. Also pitched, works solely from the stretch; works through a low three-quarters slot with a compact arm stroke, generates some sink to the fastball toward the arm side, gets good tumble on the changeup and showed a tight slider with late horizontal bite that projects well. Right-handed hitter, loads deep and swings hard, works level through the zone with some stiffness but shows excellent strength in the hands and is able to produce good jump off the barrel. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
