Deven McGrath is a 2020 LHP with a 5-8 157 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Obra D. Tompkins HS. Medium build with room to get stronger. Smooth repeatable delivery, stays on line and balanced well, 3/4's arm slot with a medium length arm action. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, gets some running action at times. Gets over his curveball well with 1/7 shape and some depth. Not overpowering but is around the zone with his pitches and tries to work to spots. Did not observe a change up. Good student.
