Duanne Medina is a 2020 C/3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Southwest Miami HS. Athletic build with present athleticism. Ran a 7.51 sixty. Flashed a quick exchange with good lower half mechanics behind the plate. Displayed a strong arm to go along with the quick transfer and release topping out at 72 miles per hour while posting a 1.96 pop time. Right handed hitter. Utilizes a upright stance with high hand and high back elbow set up. Employs a hard swing with good bat speed and flashes of pop to the pull side. Has room for development with added strength and maturity. In games showed sound actions behind the plate with multiple good blocks and throwing a runner out at third base.
