Walter Ahuna III is a 2020 SS/MIF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Hilo, HI who attends Hilo. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. 6.70 runner, has quick feet on defense and smooth balanced actions in the middle infield, moves through the ball well and gets rid of the ball quickly, has some present arm strength and arm projects to get stronger. Left handed hitter, gets to his front side early with a short and compact swing, high contact swing that can move the ball around the field with solid line drive contact, will improve offensively as he gets stronger and defense will carry him until then. Good student, verbal commitment to Hawaii.
