Eduardo Pendas is a 2022 2B/3B/SS with a 5-8 190 lb. frame from Emerson, NJ who attends St. Joseph Regional. Medium, square shouldered frame with a mature build and present strength throughout. Ran a 7.46 60-yard dash. Primary second baseman, fields the ball with two hands out front and a wide base, extra step moving into release, mostly arm at release with a full path through the back, over-the-top slot, shows some lower half quickness to actions. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, utilizes a simple leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Patient approach and employs a short, simple swing in the box. Incorporates strength well at point of contact when squared, works on a mostly linear path and remains short throughout, comfort working to the middle of the field. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
