Aaron Rothballer is a 2022 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 245 lb. frame from Pewee Valley, KY who attends South Oldham. Large young build with lots of strength potential. Hand drop delivery, busy hand action in his takeaway, compact arm action, high 3/4's arm slot, pronates over the ball at release. Mid to upper-60's fastball, gets occasional fading action to to release. Difficult arm action to spin the ball from and showed a soft curveball. 8.03 runner, actions and skills fit at first base best defensively. Right handed hitter, has some strength in his swing with a long and strong swing approach, gets from his back side to his front side well and can get the ball into the air. Good student.
