Danny Carr is a 2024 C/RHP with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Paoli, PA who attends Great Valley. Large, athletic frame with present strength on build and additional room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.60 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, slight turn in set up behind the plate during drills, soft hands and receives the ball out front, gains ground towards target and replaces feet well, very accurate throws down to second base with some present arm strength on throws. Also pitched, full windup on the mound with an over-the-head pump, deliberate pace working to a high three-quarters release point; shows present arm speed, fastball topped out at 83 mph with heavy life down in the zone, projects very well. Hard biting slider up to 71 mph with vertical shape. Maintained velocity well, nice upside on the bump. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and utilizes a hover trigger for timing in the box. Shows a nice feel for the barrel and generates loft to stroke at point of contact. Works the gaps with comfort and shows strength off of the barrel, has tools at the plate. Good student. Named to Fall Northeast Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
