Yaziel Rolon is a 2024 1B/LHP with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Aibonito, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Physical build with plenty of size to both halves that stand out in the frame. Ran a 7.75 in the 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, stays squared in fielding and funnels through the middle well. Solid turns to the bag with good accuracy from a shorter arm slot. Moved well and fielded his position. Left-handed hitter, open stance and wider base with a high hand set and high back elbow. Shows impact strength to both gaps with a strong set of hands that work through contact. Rotates a good bit and really lets the hands backspin balls with intent. Good quickness and lots of strength in a left-handed stick. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
