Brenden Donohue is a 2020 OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Eden Prairie, MN who attends Eden Prairie HS. Medium and athletic frame with room to fill. Ran a 7.02 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves to the baseball with developing footwork, fields the baseball out in front with two hands, takes a short stride into his release, compact arm action into throws, developing arm strength that should improve with refinement to lower half throwing mechanics. Lefthanded hitter, rotational swing with an early front side opening, hands stay tight to body throughout the swing, produced mostly pull side ground balls during his round of batting practice, can improve bat speed and strength off of the barrel with the addition of a weight shift into contact. Great student.
