Max Mowery is a 2024 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Leesburg, VA who attends Riverside. Large frame with good present strength to the build. Ran a 7.84 second 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, clean and simple actions on the dirt, third base profile with limited range but fields it clean and releases from higher slot with solid arm strength up to 75 mph across. Also worked out in the outfield, carries momentum well through clean funnel and produces some carry on throws. Pitches as well, quiet delivery and gets in line well, short take back and works compact through a three-quarters slot, gets across his body and round the fastball slightly but throws strikes and shows short downer bite to the breaking ball. Lefthanded hitter, small shift in on time, works very level through the zone with some strength to the swing but struggled to get strong impact out front, has some tools that translate including strength. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
