Zachary Duffy is a 2022 LHP/1B with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Bainbridge Island, WA who attends Bainbridge. Strong athletic build. Long and loose arm action on the mound with a loose, whippy extended 3/4's arm action, lands a bit closed on his front side and throws across his body, works from the first base side of the rubber to create additional angle. Fastball worked in the low 80's, topped out at 83 mph, shows some arm side running action at times. Had nice feel for a big sweeping curveball that generated lots of swing and miss. Also threw a good change up with some nice downer life to it. Throws strikes and mixes it up effectively. Also showed a very deceptive pick off move. Good student.
