Gavin Triezenberg is a 2025 SS/3B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Palos Heights, IL who attends Brother Rice. Recorded a 5.11 second sixty yard dash time. Big and physical frame with strength present. Primary shortstop with good, clean footwork, moves quite well for his size and has lateral range. Smooth/soft hands with good feel for the glove, showed the ability to make plays on the move and made the slow roller/charging play with ease. Solid showing overall, can play either position on the left side of the infield. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open stance and pre-loaded hands, simple/quiet operation overall but produces big power from it. Strong swing with loft and leverage, produced hard contact in the air to his pull side. Also hit a couple of hard liners to the pull side in game. Intriguing offensive upside, key to development will be handling the outer half and showing power that way. Excellent student. Named to the 2023 Chicago Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
