Ross Jackson is a 2025 SS/RHP, 2B, UT with a 5-8 137 lb. frame from Greenville, IN who attends Floyd Central. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward, projects well. Ran a 7.28 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, hands play to either side of the ball, ranges well up the middle, shorter arm action through the back, occasionally gets uphill at release, arm strength will continue to develop on throws across, fundamentals and makes the plays. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open and relaxed stance; utilizes a smaller leg lift trigger for timing at the plate. Swings with some intent and works on a linear path through the zone, repeats swing, employs an all fields approach, will continue to develop with added strength. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
