Daniel "Danny" Perez is a 2023 C/1B, 3B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Charles W Flanagan HS. Recorded a 7.40 second 60-yard dash time. Physical build with a medium frame and room to add strength to the build. Primary catcher with a lower stance to start and accurate throws. Quick transfer to the throwing hand and gains ground well. Compact arm action with good athleticism behind the dish and a best recorded pop time of 1.84 seconds. Right-handed hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Balanced set up with a full swing path and gets the ball into the air. Line drive approach and has some carry off the barrel. Great student. Verbal commitment to Florida International.
