Benjamin Arn is a 2023 1B/LHP with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Madison, AL who attends Bob Jones. Stocky build with long limbs and a high waste showing room to fill. Ran a 7.85 second sixty yard dash. Primary first basemen, showed a relaxed type approach with young footwork, accurate arm across the diamond from all angles. Secondary lefthanded pitcher, likes to work from the middle of the rubber in both the wind up and stretch, short toe tap and lift with the hands sinking during motion, strides out and closes himself off while throwing from a 3/4 arm action across his body upon delivery, he pounded the zone all afternoon while painting corners, fastball sat in the low-70's with some arm side run, his curveball flashed some slurve type movement sitting in the low-60's. Lefthanded hitter, showed a wide base at the plate, low hands with an uphill swing plane looking to create lift, showed some power potential. Outstanding student.
