LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2023 Sunshine Texas Showcase
Ronnie (RJ) Ross Jr is a 2024 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-4 280 lb. frame from Kansas City, KS who attends F L Schlagle. Hugely physical frame with strength throughout. Ran a 7.75 second 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, has some smoothness and fluidity to how he moves around the bag, clean funnels in receiving it and in transitions to release, short arm stroke and up to 73 across on throws. Left-handed hitter, slightly open start and stays short as a whole; doesn't get off his back side a ton but showed some impact to the pull side, has some strength and heaviness behind it just not consistent enough yet to unlock all of the strength in there physically.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
