Will McCray is a 2022 C/2B with a 5-6 130 lb. frame from Hallsville, TX who attends IMG Academy. Smaller frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 7.26 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, athletic in his stance as he works low in the crouch, shows sound footwork with some quickness in his pop, releases clean and will improve carry on throws as he adds arm strength. Righthanded hitter, sets up narrow and in line with a short stride forward into the swing; shows simplicity to the stroke as he works the other way with most of his contact but can use the whole field with low line drive contact. Will improve on both sides of the ball as he matures physically. Great student.
