Primary catcher on defense, comes out of his crouch well and has good lower half quickness, sets up low and flexible, compact arm action and exchange, repeats his footwork throwing well and makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow base, relaxed stance with a simple leg lift timer, direct inside swing path, controlled high contact swing approach with consistent middle of the field line drive contact. Good student.
