Ayden Katzberg is a 2025 SS/RHP, C, 2B, 3B, MIF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Lees Summit, MO who attends Lees Summit West. Has a compact frame with athleticism. Ran a 7.22 60-yard dash. A primary shortstop who showed off the fundamentals with his footwork and funnel working through the ball. Had a clean action that produced accurate throws over the top. A right-handed hitter with a square base using load-stride timing. He extends his hands through the swing, letting the ball get deep. He worked the opposite field and produced line drives during his round of BP. Also took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher with a clean and repeatable delivery. Showed a longer arm-action coming from a higher three-quarters slot. Uses a higher knee lift, above the belt. His fastball was in the mid- to upper-70s with some arm-side run with horizontal movement. He paired it with a 12-6 breaking curveball with a sharper break to it. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
