Lauren Binney is a 2023 C/3B, OF with a 5-8 148 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Liberty. Medium stocky frame with present strength and room to fill out. Ran a 8.07 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Displayed a low even stance sitting back. Showed quicker footwork working into throws from behind the plate using replacement footwork. Flashed clean exchanges with quickness into a compact three-quarter arm slot release with good arm strength and accurate carry to the bases topping out at 70 MPH and posting a 2.13 second pop time. Also worked out defensively in the infield. Flashed deliberate actions working to and through the baseball in the infield. Flashed developing accuracy with longer exchanges into throws and good arm strength across the infield topping out at 74 MPH across the infield. Right handed hitter. Employs a spread slightly crouched stance with no lower half load. Displayed a clean hand load with a simple, direct hand path to contact. Flashed a naturally lifted barrel plane with good barrel control creating consistently driven line drive to the pull and middle fields when on time and squared.
