Jackson Kleiner is a 2021 RHP/3B with a 5-11 220 lb. frame from Nyack, NY who attends Nyack Senior. Medium, broad shouldered build with present strength proportioned throughout, mature build. Ran a 7.37 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, begins with a side step moving into delivery, gets tall on back side with leg lift up past belt, slight hip turn at top. Compact arm action in the back and hides the ball working to a high three-quarters release point, lands slightly closed with strike foot, creates some extension out front. Worked mostly off of fastball, topped out at 78 mph, true in life with some ride up in the zone. Tends to slow arm action on release of curveball, 12-6 shape to it up to 62 mph and flashed a changeup at 64 mph. Fields the ball out front in the infield, footwork will continue to develop through the ball, gets under the ball at times at release. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide and spread stance with a high hand set in the box. Upper body dominant swing, long path through the zone and looks to lift at the point of contact, keeps hands inside the ball through swing, can shorten lower half approach for more consistent timing. Excellent student.
