Joshua Atomanczyk is a 2024 2B/RHP/C with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Franklin, TX who attends Franklin. Smaller frame with a medium slightly physical build. Primary second baseman, clean fundamental actions with balance to both sides, ranges well with comfort working through the baseball, controlled gather and clean release, up to 81 across with accurate throws. Also pitches, simple compact delivery with feel for 3 pitches, works downhill with the fastball in the low-80s, shows 11-to-5 shape on the breaking ball with short depth and kills spin well on changeup, good fading action that plays well in the mix. Right-handed hitter, balanced setup with a simple move in, very loose and under control process of the swing, lower hand set and gets on plane early, shows looseness through impact and fires the barrel on time, projects well to more strength and already can impact the baseball in the air to the pull side. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
