Justin Colon is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 5-6 140 lb. frame from Algonquin, IL who attends Dundee-Crown HS. Short athletic build. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright straight stance, stays on his backside with a lift and replace front leg load, short since drive swing, handles the barrel well and makes consistent contact to all fields. 7.15 runner, fields the ball cleanly in the outfield with good footwork and a quick release on his throws. Also pitched, works from the stretch, clean and simple delivery that enables him to throw consistent strikes, works quickly. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, ball comes out of his hand easy and appears to get on hitters. Downer curveball has good consistent break and is thrown in any count, developing change up. Good student.
