Jack McMinn is a 2022 RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Powhatan, VA who attends Powhatan. Nice young pitcher's build, long and lean with plenty of physical projection. Gathers over the rubber well in his delivery with minimal drift to the plate, high and tight 3/4's arm action, gets on top of the ball well and works consistently down in the strike zone, maintained him mechanics and raw stuff well from the stretch. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, gets consistent cutting action on the pitch, will also throw a 2-seamer in the low 70's with some fading life. Showed confidence in his curveball and threw it for strikes, some curveballs had tight spin and some sharpness, will occasionally wrap his curveball in back impacting his release point. Has all the ingredients to keep improving as he matures physically. Excellent student.
