Spencer Freer is a 2024 C/OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Gardiner, NY who attends Wallkill Senior. Medium, athletic build with strength remaining to be added throughout his frame. Recorded a 5.04-second forty time. Primary catcher, wide square set up, gets out of his crouch well, gaining ground towards his target. Clean transfers with a short arm action. Recorded a best pop time of 2.19-seconds. Up to 69 mph on his throws, continuing to develop arm strength. Right-handed hitter, balanced, slightly open stance with a high-hand set. Compact stroke that works short through the zone with some strength in his hands. Impacted the ball well through the middle-of-the-field when on time with his toe-tap trigger. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
