Randy Balceiro is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends City Of Hialeah Education Academy. Tall, slender frame with lots of room to add strength to the build. Primary right-handed pitcher with a semi-windup delivery and drop and drive lower half actions. Moves well down the mound without a lot of effort. Repeats mechanics well with a clean arm path and over the top arm slot. Hides the ball fairly well and fastball topped out at 81 mph with some ride. Pounds the zone and goes right at hitters. Curveball showed 11/5 break and downward bite. Flashed a changeup with some fade. Right-handed hitter with a wide base, inside hand path, and longer swing. Big strength to the pull side. Aggressive and consistent approach with pull side power being the carrying tool. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
