Cahijah Pressley is a 2023 1B/3B with a 6-0 215 lb. frame from Laurens, SC who attends Laurens Dist 55. Recorded a 7.59 second sixty yard dash time. Large frame with a strong and physical build. Primary first baseman with a passive approach, waits back on the ball and fields it deep. Developing confidence in his glove work, shows stiff and segmented actions at present. Longer arm action and release, will continue to improve as he becomes comfortable with the position. Right-handed hitter with an even base and in line stance, utilizes a big leg lift trigger. Shows an exaggerated downhill swing path, will improve and find more barrels as he develops some loft to the path. Tends to cut himself off rather than get extended out front. Has the strength to really impact the baseball and can gain added power as he refines his swing. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
