Ethan Pate is a 2026 SS/RHP, OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Windermere, FL who attends Foundation Academy. Taller build with a wiry frame and room to keep adding strength to fill out moving forward. Ran a 7.94 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop who made on-target throws across the infield. He had quick feet working up the middle. Made the plays and kept throws on the bag. Right-handed hitter with a wider base who was able to keep himself short and compact to the ball. Had a middle-of-the-field approach and was able to control the barrel to produce good contact back up the middle. A right-handed pitcher who throws from a three-quarters arm slot with short arm action. His fastball was in the low- to mid-70s, working up to 76 mph. The pitch had some run to it when worked arm-side. Heavy dosage of fastballs during his outing, mixing in a changeup in the mid-60s that kept hitters off balance.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
