Christian Baca is a 2025 C/2B, 3B, OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Tustin, CA who attends Crean Lutheran high school. Features a medium sized, projectable, athletic build. A primary catcher that plays infield as well. In the box Baca starts in a narrow, slightly open pigeon-toed stance. Uses a toe-tap-trigger mechanism. Generates good hand/bat speed and the ball jumps off his bat. Consistently barreled up the baseball in his BP round and in the game portion finding some results. Baca wa one of the top catchers at the event showing of an athletic catch and throw tool. Transfers were crisp, feet were active, and his put his throws on the money every time. High follow.
