Arex Wyatt is a 2020 C/RHP, 1B with a 6-1 182 lb. frame from Hillsborough, NJ who attends Hillsborough. Large frame with athletic, solid build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.40 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with slight crouch, toe tap trigger, hands work up and back into load, line drive swing plane through the zone, toe tap trigger, creates steeper entry path, showed ability to get the head out and impact the ball. Primary catcher, receives with two hands out front, shorter stride out of crouch, clean transfer, clocked up to 75 mph on throws. Also took 1st base reps, deeper later funnel with hands, turns well on throws, clocked up to 78 mph. Righthanded pitcher, longer arm stroke through the back, works out of the stretch, repeats well, fastball worked 76-80 mph with good plane from high three quarters slot, good arm side run and sink on the pitch, flashes curveball for strikes. Graded out best on the mound. Good student.
