Anthony Watts is a 2022 RHP/3B with a 6-5 185 lb. frame from Clive, IA who attends Waukee Northwest. Long and lanky build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from the stretch with a long off-line arm action in back, loose and fast arm and the ball comes out easy from his hand, low effort release. Fastball topped out at 91 mph with good ride through the zone up and some run and sink when down, easy to imagine him throwing harder in the future. Threw a short and tight slider as his secondary pitch, also flashed a developing change up. Adding strength and improving his secondary pitches will determine his ceiling. Good student.
