2022 Southeast Uncommitted Showcase (2023 Grads)
Mark Underwood is a 2023 OF/ with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Knoxville, TN who attends Farragut. Ran a 6.75 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium frame and strong build. Primary outfielder with athletic actions and present range. Agile to either side helps him stay behind the ball, create a clear line to bases, and work through repetitions with clean footwork. Arm works well with long, clean arm-action that stays unrestricted through release. Showcased throws at 76-mph from the outfield with developing carry and present accuracy to bases. Right-handed hitter with simple mechanics in the box and a short swing path through the zone. Square stance setup in the box with high hands as he tracks pitches to the plate with discipline. Twitch present in current operation allowing him to get the barrel out front and make strong contact with extension, shooting line drive contact to the gaps, especially the pull side. Projectable skill set. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
