Griffin Falco is a 2020 C/IF with a 5-9 190 lb. frame from Matawan, NJ who attends Matawan Regional. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and physical strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 5.34 40-yard dash. Primary catcher, begins with a lower set behind the plate, receives the ball well out front and shows quickness to transfer and repeats mechanics well, 2.07 best pop time, works on top of throws and shows accuracy down to second base. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and remains balanced and controlled through swing. Easy mechanics and repeats well, stays direct to the ball with quickness to barrel. Incorporates physical strength well and flashes loft at point of contact with looseness. Good student.
