Mason Munz is a 2022 3B/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Friendswood, TX who attends Friendswood. Medium frame with some strength in the lower half but remaining room to fill. Recorded an 8.06 second 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, worked out in the infield with good footwork and actions to the ball, funnels it well up to the hand with clean transfers, comfortable getting going into throws, accurate across and will improve greatly with added strength in throws. Left-handed hitter, stands tall and sets up even with a high hand set and high back elbow, shifts weight well into contact, short and direct with the hands on a line drive barrel plane and works a consistent middle of the field approach. Good student.
