2023 Jr. National Showcase
Alfrin Rosario is a 2025 SS/2B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Mater Academy Lakes. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. 7.18 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has fluid actions through the ball, soft and sure hands fielding it, clean to the back hand, changes arm slots well, plenty of raw arm strength throwing from over the top. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a short leg raise load, has a short and efficient line drive swing, stays balanced well, pull to mid field contact. Should keep improving with additional strength and repetitions, especially on offense.
