Charlie Saudarg is a 2026 C/RHP/3B with a 6-2 152 lb. frame from Chelmsford, MA who attends Chelmsford. Long and lean young build, high waist, young pitcher's look and profile. Primary catcher on defense, sets up low and narrow, developing footwork on his throws, long transfer and arm action. Also played the infield, feet and glove worked well here for his age, tends to bend at the waist for balls, developing arm strength and carry. Took a turn on the mound, works from a full windup and a 3/4's arm slot, stays balanced well, will open up his front shoulder early at times, simple overall operation. Fastball worked in the mid-70's, works mostly arm side due to his front shoulder. Firm slider had some horizontal depth at times. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with closed off lower half mechanics, showed good barrel control with level line drive swing and contact to all fields. Graded out better as a pitcher than as a position player at this event. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
