2022 Fall Atlantic Coast Showcase
Andres Lopez is a 2025 2B/3B/SS with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from York, SC who attends Legion Collegiate Academy. Well built athletic frame with twitchy actions and plenty of time to continue growth. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.56 seconds. Primary position IF with some hop in his step and moving well around the diamond. Hands work well though he does tend to get the glove down a bit late. Quick exchange and looseness to his overall actions. Solid arm with good accuracy, creating throws up to 77 mph across the field. LHH working from an inline stance, using his base well to create strength to impact. Heel lift trigger for his timing, leading to a short path to ball and on time allowing him to get excellent extension. Best bolts were middle of the field low line drives. Showed occasional loft that should translate to solid power longterm. Bat really played in game action, collecting several extra base hits and was aggressive on the bases. Tremendous student, performing at an elite level in the classroom. Well rounded young man with a bright future.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
