Ben Blanchard is a 2023 C/ with a 5-7 160 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends The Woodlands College Park. Lean, projectable build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.08 seconds. Catcher whose throws down to second base topped out at 72 mph. He has a quick transfer and release which allowed him to post a 2.08 pop time. On the offensive side of the ball he hit out of a square and balanced stance and showed an all-fields approach which paired well with his flat bat path through the zone that sprayed line drives. Excellent student.
