Dominic Poole is a 2024 2B/C, OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends Leland. Features a medium build with athleticism. Ran a 7.08 60-yard dash. Has the ability to play in multiple spot around the diamond. Recorded a 1.95 pop time from behind the plate. Uses a side saddle setup with the ability to gain ground out of crouch. Displayed a consistent, quick transfer. Generates solid carry on throws. Arm strength played during outfield workouts as well. Threw 85 mph. Was around the target with a majority of throws. Charged the ball hard with a quick transfer into long arm action throws. Showed intriguing actions during infield workouts. Caught the ball cleanly using soft hands which work through hops well. Still developing consistency of glove timing into the catch point position. Flashed decent range in both directions. Athleticism allows for a change in arm slot when needed. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an upright stance with a narrow base and high hand setup. Simple load allows for consistent timing. Stays through the middle of the field well. Shows some feel for the barrel, swinging on a linear path. Adding loft within swing would help improve power profile Good student.
