Drew Ferguson is a 2023 3B/RHP with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Rockford, MI who attends Rockford. Large frame with a physical build. Ran a 7.13 second 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, works under control with good balance to his actions, shows strong feel receiving the ball and transfers to a longer arm action with good strength on throws across. Also pitches, shows good athleticism and tempo to his delivery, has a quick arm with some looseness to it, generates good run to the arm side on the fastball and shows feel for a slurve-shaped breaking ball. Right-handed hitter, sets up balanced in the lower half, has some stiffness to the swing on a level swing plane with strength in the wrists and some feel for the barrel showing flashes of good impact strength when squared. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
