Ty Southisene is a 2024 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Henderson, NV who attends Basic. Smaller and slender build with room to get stronger. 6.45 runner in the sixty, very quick twitch athlete in all regards, speed plays up due to his energy. Very light on his feet defensively in the middle of the infield, has bounce, athleticism and balance, quick release on his throws with plenty of carry, plays defense with confidence. Right handed hitter, has a busy start to his swing, quick and whippy barrel with bat speed and advanced barrel to ball skills, consistent hard contact to all fields, not much present lift to his swing but doesn't need to with his barrel skills. Very advanced player who plays with energy. Good student, verbal commitment to Tennessee. Named to the Perfect Game All-American Classic Team.
